Gluten Free Baking Safeguards

I am so excited to be offering gluten free products for all of you.  I know that cross contamination is a big concern for gluten free people, and especially for those of you with full blown Celiac disease, so I wanted to take this opportunity to explain my process when I bake gluten free.  Although I do my very best to insure that there is no cross contamination I do bake with flour and other items that contain gluten in the same kitchen.

Gluten Free Safeguards:
  • Gluten free items are baked as the first items of the day and nothing else is baked at the same time.
  • Gluten free exclusive measuring cups and spoons
  • Gluten free mixing bowls
  • Gluten free mixer
  • All items in the kitchen, whether gluten free or not are washed, rinsed and sanitized after use.
