Gluten Free Baking Safeguards
I am so excited to be offering gluten free products for all of you. I know that cross contamination is a big concern for gluten free people, and especially for those of you with full blown Celiac disease, so I wanted to take this opportunity to explain my process when I bake gluten free. Although I do my very best to insure that there is no cross contamination I do bake with flour and other items that contain gluten in the same kitchen.

The moment that I announced the opening of Borrow A Baker I started getting questions about offering gluten free products. I anticipated that this would happen, but there are so many things to get ready when opening a new business that I just couldn't make it happen prior to opening day. BUT it has happened now! Thanks to my taste testers who have helped me be sure I am delivering a great gluten free product. I am excited to announce the addition of Gluten Free and Dairy Free chocolate cake, as well as Gluten Free and Dairy Free vanilla cake to my menu. Even the frosting and decorations are gluten and dairy free! If you don't have a dairy intolerance I can frost the cake with my standard buttercream (which does have dairy in it), each item can be customized to your liking.

OPEN FOR BUSINESS
I'm so excited to have received the last permit I need to be a fully licensed home bakery in Los Alamos! I'm not going to lie, this has not been an easy process and I have been working on it for a long time, but I am so happy to be able to announce that I am now OPEN for business!
I look forward to helping all of my fellow Los Alamos (and surrounding area) residents with your baking needs. I'm sure there will be some hiccups with the website so please be patient with me, my goal is to provide the best quality baked goods to you. Please get in touch with me so we can make your cake or other dessert dreams a reality.
In addition to offering cakes/cupcakes/cookies and more I will also be teaching classes in high altitude baking and cake/cupcake decorating. Check out the classes tab for more info on current classes.
